Only if and when it feels right. We start with what is happening in your life now. Sometimes the work naturally touches on earlier experiences, but you do not have to share anything you are not ready to share.
Yes. Many of the women I work with “know the plan” inside out. The stuckness is usually not about knowledge. It’s about the parts of you that panic, rebel, numb or over control. IFS helps us understand and work with those parts so they are not fighting you so hard.
Shame is often at the centre of this work. We go at your pace. You do not have to tell me everything at once. My job is to offer a steady, non judging space so that even the most hidden parts of you can start to relax and be heard.
Many of my clients have tried a lot before we meet. IFS is different in that we are not just trying to think differently or force new habits. We are listening to the deeper reasons your system has needed these patterns and helping those parts feel safer. That is often where lasting change begins.
That fear makes sense. We don’t rush into big changes. Instead, we work gently with the parts of you that equate control with safety. As they feel more supported, your system can find more flexible, kinder ways to look after you without everything falling apart.
I hear this often. In my experience, it is never too late for your system to soften and reorganise. We are not aiming for perfection. We are aiming for more ease, self respect and steadiness. Even small shifts in the right places can change how life feels day to day.
In-person circles take place at The Land in Little Eaton, Derbyshire — a natural wellbeing space with open fields, trees, and fire circles. Being in nature adds to the grounding, restorative atmosphere.
Retreats run over several days and include circle work, IFS practices, meditation, and ceremony — such as fire rituals or sculpting to bring your inner world to life. They’re immersive and transformative, giving you the space to step away from daily demands and return home with clarity, calm, and renewed energy.
No specific belief system is required. While I draw on my 27 years of meditation practice, the circles and coaching are open, inclusive, and practical. You’re welcome exactly as you are.
That’s completely natural. Many people feel anxious about opening up, especially in groups. The good news is you’re never pushed to share more than you’re comfortable with. You can take part at your own pace, and most people find the atmosphere quickly puts them at ease.
Yes. Many clients choose online sessions and find them just as powerful as being face-to-face. You’ll need a quiet space, a reliable internet connection, and ideally headphones to feel fully present.
Session and circle fees are listed on each relevant page. If you’re unsure which option might be best for you, just email me and we can discuss what feels like the right fit.
Life happens — and I understand that. If you’re unable to attend a booked session, I ask for 24 hours’ notice wherever possible. For group circles, I encourage attending regularly to keep the sense of connection, but missing an occasional session doesn’t mean you’ll be left behind.
If you’re in midlife, care deeply for others, and yet find yourself weighed down by guilt, body image struggles, or patterns you can’t quite shift — IFS coaching or circle work may be exactly what you need. The best first step is simply to reach out.
