About Tessa

I’m Tess Rigby, an Internal Family Systems (IFS) coach and meditation teacher with over 27 years of practice. I work with people who want to feel calmer, clearer, and more confident by exploring the inner parts of themselves that can sometimes hold them back — especially around food, body image, self-worth, and emotional triggers.

If you choose to work with me, you’ll find my approach is gentle, structured, and grounded in really listening to you. Over the years I’ve led IFS and meditation retreats, founded the Derbyshire Wellbeing Trust to support mental health, and run regular in-person IFS circles. Whether you prefer one-to-one sessions or being in a group, I’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can get to know yourself more fully, reconnect with your strengths, and make changes that last.

And just so you know — life isn’t all “inner work” with me. I also love outdoor swimming, growing vegetables on my allotment, and spending time with my grandson. Those simple joys keep me connected to nature, family, and the quieter rhythms of life — and I bring the same grounded, human values into the space I hold for you.
